Adrian Mok
As an accomplished athlete in endurance sports, Adrian has represented Singapore for triathlon on a national level. His best achievements include running marathons among the top local men’s category and winning the age-group in triathlons. One of his greatest feats is conquering 73 storeys of the Westin Vertical Marathon in 6 min 56 secs.

In 2002, He was part of the team in Singapore who attempted the Eco Challenge in Fiji, which is commonly known as the toughest race on earth. His most recent achievement includes representing Singapore for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii in 2004. In 2005, he attempted a 168km run around Singapore and also completing the Oxfam Trailwalker 100km ultra-marathon event.

Adrian is working as the General Manager of Polar Electro Singapore and owner of a local sports outfit, Hivelocity. Literally walking his talk, he frequent gives speeches in marathon clinics and motivating corporate audience to start a active lifestyle. He is also the person who has brought Ironman 70.3 into Singapore.

Ben Pulham – Director, Training Strategies (www.racers-toolbox.com)
Ben has been a professional athlete ranked as high as 53rd in the world and has been involved in endurance sport for the past 17 years. He has competed as a professional triathlete and has had a lot of success winning many international races. Ben has been a member of the world leading New Zealand Triathlon Team and has competed on the prestigious ITU World Cup circuit.

Using his vast experience and knowledge in elite level racing, Ben has coached many local and international athletes to personal best finishes. He has also worked with major corporations in promoting an active lifestyle through his coaching programmes and has offered training advice at corporate events.

    Jon Fong - Director, Sports Science (www.racers-toolbox.com)
    Jon is one of a handful of qualified sports scientists in Singapore and has been in the triathlon scene for the past 14 years. Starting at the age of 14, he has represented the country as a national athlete in numerous international triathlon events. Many of these events include the ASTC Asian Cup circuit, Asian Championships and World Championships. Jon was awarded the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) Meritorious Award from 1996 to 1998.

    With a keen interest in sports science, Jon pursued a degree in Kinesiology at the University of Southern California and a level one certificate from International Society of the Advancement of Kinanthropometry. Under the Singapore Sports Council's Programme for Elite Athletes Career (PEAC), he has since worked with junior national athletes at the Singapore Sports School as a sports scientist. His work has helped to develop many elite athletes that currently represent our nation at major games and international competitions.

    Sharon Lim - Senior Sports Physiotherapist, Alexandra Hospital
    Sharon graduated from University of South Australia with a Masters in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy, and from King's College London with a Masters in Science (Physiotherapy) with Honors. She is an Exercise Specialist, certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and also the Clinical Director for FunFitness, a component of Healthy Athletes Program under the Special Olympics umbrella.

    Professionally, she has had experience working with various sports groups such as Soccer, Softball, Rugby and Australian Rules Football. She has been involved in medical coverages for many mass events such as Rugby Sevens and Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, and on-field coverages for soccer and softball. Currently, Sharon is based in the Sports Medicine Centre, Alexandra Hospital. She specialises in the sports and exercise injury prevention and management. Other areas of interests include public education through talks and workshops, clinical education through supervision of students and peer group teaching, and clinical research, of which to date, she has one publication in a peer-reviewed journal.

    An active sports-person, her personal achievements include several half marathons, marathons, and biathlons. She also used to play softball competitively and currently volunteers with Singapore Baseball and Softball Association in capacity of Team Manager for the Women's Softball National and National Youth Teams. Other volunteer endeavors include volunteering with Special Olympics.and for on-field soccer coverage.

    Marcel Daane
    Marcel is the Head Coach for Speed Institute. He has over 15 years experience in performance coaching. He has an Associate's Degree in Applied Nutrition, a Bachelor of Health Science Degree in Complementary Medicine, is a NSCA Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist, an ACE certified Clinical Exercise Specialist, ACE certified Mat Pilates Instructor, AFPA Certified Sports Conditioning Specialist, and an American Red Cross First Aid - CPR Instructor. Additionally, he is also a Registered Grand Master with the United States Martial Arts Association.

    He runs his own practice specializing in Personal Performance Coaching for Sports, Health and Life-Improvement in which he uses Exercise, Nutrition and Counseling Therapies for clientele ranging from High Level Executives to Elite Level Athletes to Patients suffering from Chronic Illness and Injuries.

    Additionally, Marcel is a Freemotion "Master Trainer". Freemotion is a manufacturer in Specialized Integrated Functional Training Equipment in the United States. Freemotion supplies conditioning equipment to Sports Conditioning, and Sports Medicine Facilities, training elite athletes from various sports such as the NFL, NHL, and NBA. Marcel conducts workshops and lectures for Freemotion's clientelle throughout Asia.

    Marcel is an accomplished public speaker and lecturer. His energetic and motivating presentations focus primarily on Health, Stress Management, and Performance Enhancement in Business and Sports through optimizing nutrition and training.

    He is also an IDEA International Fitness Presenter, which is one of the leading fitness organizations in the United States. He has lectured and presented in all corners of the world ranging from the United States to the United Kingdom and Australia, where he has motivated and educated thousands of fitness professionals in the process. He is also a lecturer for the Singapore Sports Council’s Sports Medicine and Sports Science Centre, which is responsible for standardization and Education of the Singapore Fitness Industry.

    Joanna Ng - Program and Training Director, Pilates Central
    Joanna is a Personal Trainer with extensive experience in her trade. She is deeply passionate about fitness and this drew her to make a gigantic career switch from a successful fashion house to fitness more than a decade ago. She has never looked back since, and constantly find reward and gratification in being able to help students find better health and well-being.

    She is Pilates mat certified at The PhysicalMind Institute (PMI) in 1997; and went on to become certified in Concentration 101 & 201- the full repertoire of Pilates Appratus while training in Sante Fe, US in 1999. Joanna now teaches PMI Teachers Training program at Pilates Central, a certified PMI Studio. She also gives talks, lectures and mentored trainees on both Pilates & Fitness.

    Jo has a keen interest in rehabilitation program; she is adapt at combining training with various forms of therapeutic movement used like Myofasical Release, Trigger Point Release and Sports Massage. She is also certified in the Gyrotonics & Gyrokinesis methodology with GYROTONIC Interntional Inc and Yoga at Planet Yoga In Los Angeles.

    Joanna holds strong principles on effective and safe workout and incorporates elements of educating clients as the key ingredients in her training programs. Attending conventions, seminars and workshops; more in US than here are part of her regular curriculum. She is recently certified as a SmartSpine practitionist with SmartSpine Works Co, LLC where the techniques of integrating the Spine and the foundation of the posture is explored.

    She enjoys the outdoor; loves to run, trek, cycle, snorkel, swim and more. She is a regular participant in numerous marathons like Sheares Bridge Run, Standard Chartered Run, Nike Run etc.. but a torn meniscus in 2007 forced her to cut back from serious running. Opting for non surgical treatments, she underwent an intense self rehabilitative program in both Pilates & Gyrotonic for a year and now she has returned to 90% of her pre injury activity level.

    Her focus is always on attracting and developing a strong superb certified team of trainers for VF, who will teach and offer their expertise to a diverse clientele in both individualized and focus group programs.

    About Tommy Yau
    Tommy Yau is the National Fitness Manager of Fitness First in Singapore. With seven years of experience as a Personal Trainer, Tommy is a highly-sought after trainer in Singapore. Tommy has a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science from Blackburn University UK combined with multiple certificates in Movement Base Flexibility (Premier UK), Resistance Movement Training (Premier UK), Power plate Functional Training (Power Plate), FIT Course by American Council Exercise Academy and the Singapore Sports Council.

    With a wealth of knowledge and experience in fitness training, Tommy is also a Fitness Leader and Fitness Personal Trainer under FISAF and is certified as a instructor in Les Mills BODYPUMP®, BODYBALANCE®, RPMTM and Precision Cycling Instructor - Johnny G/StarTrac. He is a Qualified Pilates Instructor in Mat work - Pilates Institute UK and has been certified a Polar Trainer.

    His specialties include Strength and Condition ing Training, Nutrition and Weight Management Programs, Sports Performance Training, Core Training, Muscular Endurance Training, Rehabilitation and Injuries Recovery.

    As Ironman finishers in IRONMAN Canada 2005, Western Australia Busselton 2004, and China 2008, Tommy is an endurance athlete himself. He has contributed to multiple magazine articles and workshops in Singapore.     Tye Lee Tze - Podiatrist, The Podiatry Centre
    Recognized as the first Podiatrist in Singapore in 1993, Tye Lee Tze pioneered and headed the Podiatry service in Tan Tock Seng Hospital until 1998. He has been a Podiatrist for the 2003 and 2004 Singapore Marathon, the 2006 JP Singapore Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge and the REAL Run 2005 and 2006.

    Today, he runs his private practice at The Podiatry Centre at Tanglin Place. He is currently the Podiatrist to the Singapore Sports Council, Gleneagles & Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, & SOTA.

    John Koh
    With 5 years of experience, John Koh is a full-time practioner who constantly explores ways from different schools of massages in addressing injuries caused by work stress, physical labour and ailments which has allowed him to produce his applications of known methods in different styles and presentations.

    John Koh started full time massage therapy in 2003 after years of making time over weekends since 1995 to help his injured friends in rugby and other serious contact sports. Unknowingly, what started out as a extra curriculum as a assistant to look after his injured mates in contact training, John is now fully certified with Diploma in Tuina from Chengdu University of TCM. He is also trained with Dr. Myk Hungerford (USA) in Sports Massage methods and practice as well as John Smith (Australia) in deep tissue techniques. Incorporating skills of relieving pains and aches taught by his Japanese master, John's knowledge has developed his ability to bring care and hope for the aged seniors, workplace executives and sportsmen. Today, he teaches these applications to over 50 practitioners in an environment he created for learners with sharing as basis of growing in this art.

    Training Director of AmG Medical and Therapy College (Asia) Pte Ltd, where he organized international training for massage and therapy, John now runs Vsprings - a mobile massage team, privately owned and managed for large events such as those organized locally. His team has supported many high profile sports events such as the Sundown Marathon, Ironman 70.3, Passion Run, Women' Run and Real Run. Vsprings brings workplace wellness to corporate environment in the specialized area of massage.
